The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a clash that began at the start of the last century, forming part of the wider Arab-Israeli conflict. Following countless struggles and uprisings, the situation has sadly never been resolved, reaching global prominence in October 2023 with the start of the Israeli-Hamas war, better known as the “Gaza War.” . The consequences of the war are still disastrous today, having plunged the Gaza Strip into an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

The whole affair arouses strong feelings on a daily basis from the rest of the world, divided between the personal opinions of individuals and the irrevocable actions of the largest companies, often siding with Israel. According to protests by dozens of Microsoft employees, the latter has recently begun a sort of “collaboration” with the Israeli army.

Azure, Microsoft's new cloud platform, is in fact being used by the military to conduct operations in Gaza and enable the surveillance of Palestinians. The company's employees have therefore demonstrated their position on the matter by protesting outside the company's headquarters.
