US IT giant Microsoft recently announced its upcoming incorporation of GitHub, the popular software project hosting service. The announcement was made by Thomas Dohmke, CEO of GitHub, who added that he intends to leave his current position to “return to being a founder.”

The US multinational acquired GitHub back in 2018, opting for separate management of the service. Years later, however, plans seem to have undergone a sort of evolution: following the announced acquisition, GitHub will no longer be led by a CEO, but by CoreAI executives. The latter is a recent division introduced within Microsoft, specializing in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence.

Nowadays, this valuable technology seems to be the object of desire for most large tech companies, which are more than willing to modify their internal structures, including corporate and project management, in order to implement it in the best possible way.
