Any digital project never truly reaches a definitive end; there will always be changes and additions to implement, new ideas to develop, and new features to design in order to offer customers an improved version of the product. However, this drive toward technological perfectionism usually comes from the project owners themselves, driven by passion and personal interest in further development.

For what may truly be the first time in history, however, a group of developers was forced to add a feature to their product due to the hallucination of an artificial intelligence model. ChatGPT recently “hallucinated” a feature of the Soundslice application, a software that allows users to digitize and edit sheet music, convincing the developers to add this new feature.

The AI kept informing users interested in the app about a non-existent feature, and rather than fighting this error, the owners of Soundslice decided to make it a reality.
