The misuse of artificial intelligence seems to have recently landed in the job hunting arena. As a result of a survey conducted by the British website CharityJob, it was discovered that out of about 2,000 participants, just under half had used the mentioned technology in the application process.

The extreme prevalence of resumes written by AI chatbots is inevitably leading to the very real possibility of providing job opportunities to individuals not suited to the position advertised. This trend is likely to lead to erroneous hiring, resulting in employees who are capable of using artificial intelligence but, arguably, not fully qualified for the position in question.

As a result, the current situation sees a general feeling of uncertainty on the part of several employers who, being faced with hundreds and hundreds of applications per day, are no longer able to distinguish who might be a suitable candidate and who might not.
