Oxford university announces OpenAI partnership.

Recently, one of the leading tech companies announced a special project aimed at the most prestigious universities on the planet. OpenAI, the famous company behind the ChatGPT model has launched a collaboration with some of the world's most famous educational institutions, including Oxford and Harvard.

The consortium is called “NextGenAI” and is composed of fifteen research institutions dedicated to artificial intelligence. The goal of the project is to consolidate the use of this technology to accelerate research progress and revolutionize the most popular methodologies in education. As a result, the company in question has committed $50 million to the initiative through dedicated research grants.

The University of Oxford recently confirmed the partnership, stating that it has signed a five-year contract. During this partnership, some of the Bodleian Library's public collections will be digitalized, and participants in the initiative will gain access to OpenAI technologies.
