Lock Up Your Kids, Folks. Apple May Be Building a Humanoid Robot..

The concept of a “robotic assistant” has been around for years now; in most homes one can find at least one Alexa device, Roomba, or any other kind of product aimed at improving the user's convenience and quality of life.

Most of the big names in the tech industry have already explored the possibility of devising and producing some kind of similar product, whether seemingly humanoid or not. However, so far there does not seem to have been any miraculous breakthroughs - the projects presented to the public have remained within rather elitist circles, given the economic aspect of these kinds of items, and this has greatly restricted their dissemination.

Currently, Apple seems to be exploring the possibility of building humanoid and non-humanoid robots for its future smart home ecosystem - in any case, the products in question are still at the proof-of-concept stage, we might see some kind of official announcement in the next few years, and a commercial release no earlier than 2028.
