Artificial intelligence has become the preferred customer service manager for a number of companies, following its rapid rise in recent years. More and more employees have been ‘replaced’ by this cutting-edge technology, which is capable of performing simple and repetitive tasks. According to companies, this implementation of AI allows workers to concentrate on other tasks, managing their time more wisely.

Recently, the US transport company Lyft also started using an artificial intelligence system for its customer service, relying on Anthropic, an American start-up specialising in AI research and known for its own AI model Claude.

Since the implementation of this technology, Lyft claims that the average time to resolve a request has been reduced by 87 per cent - currently, Claude handles only the most common service queries, redirecting customers to human specialists when more precise assistance is needed.
