Very soon, the average audience will watch artificially generated films because they will be ‘too lazy to change the channel’. This is the plan of the Chinese entertainment and electronics sales giant TLC, which is currently embarking on the production, if you can call it that, of artificially generated films to be distributed on its service.

More precisely, TLC expects to sell around 43 million TVs in 2025 and, in order to increase revenue from these sales, has decided to create a free TV service called TCL+, supported by targeted advertising. The content offered on TCL+ will be produced by TCL Film Machine, a studio aimed at creating films generated by artificial intelligence.

According to the general manager of TCL Research America, Haohong Wang, this innovation will bring a new era of cinema, comparable to the silent film period and the Golden Age of Hollywood.
