The ability to remember what has been learned and build connections has always been regarded as exclusively human - however, the development of artificial intelligence seems determined to change this idea. In the past year, several tech companies have implemented some kind of ‘intelligent memory’ within their AI models.
It seems to be the turn of Gemini AI, Google's artificial intelligence service. Users subscribed to Gemini Advanced will now have access to a new version of the model, presumably capable of remembering what the user has shared - this change will allow the service to offer customised solutions based on the answers provided by the user.
The information provided to the AI will then be saved in the ‘Saved Info’ section, which is always accessible and editable according to the preferences of those using the service.
