One of the giants of the gaming industry has recently come under the spotlight due to a peculiar incident. The Japanese company Nintendo is notorious within the industry for being rather punitive when it comes to the illicit dissemination of products not yet officially released - many content creators specialising in gaming have received cease-and-desist letters from the company, forcing them to change their plans in order not to risk having their accounts deleted.

However, not everyone is so easily bent. Jesse Keighin, known online as ‘Every Game Guru’, is a streamer who seems to desire the full fury of the company. Following the usual tactics used by Nintendo, the man decided to keep streaming emulated games- each time one of his accounts was closed, Keighin would open a new one on a different platform.

The streamer even seems to have enjoyed contacting the company itself, as if to poke fun at it, as well as urging his audience to pirate the company's games. The latter, in response, formalised a lawsuit against him, demanding $150,000 for each copyright infringement carried out by Keighin.
