Nowadays, the implementation of artificial intelligence within the workplace is not exactly a novelty. More and more companies are approaching this technology by introducing it into the workflow of their employees, testing the capabilities of this resource. Opinions on this, however, are mixed - those with high decision-making power tend to approve of the use of this controversial shortcut, while employees find it difficult when faced with this possibility.
Such is the case with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), an independent US government agency in charge of preserving important government and historical documents. Following an announcement in June, the company recently reiterated its intention to implement Gemini, Google's AI, within its ranks.
The announcement was accompanied by the presentation of Archie AI, a chatbot dedicated to serving the public that will be added in December 2024.
