The owner of X (generally known as ‘Twitter’) seems to have found his new favourite pastime: using his platform to provoke government structures, both US and British. The entrepreneur is rapidly gaining a reputation as the ‘troublemaker’ of the online landscape, often sharing somewhat controversial thoughts on his profile.

The latest scandal involving Elon Musk sees him as the culprit of a post rather lacking in sensitivity, considering the current times. In response to the question ‘why do they want to kill Donald Trump?’ posed by a user of the platform, Musk wrote ‘no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala.’

The White House, in the face of such a bold post, publicly criticised the entrepreneur's words, underlining the irresponsibility shown by the man in the face of troubling recent events.
