As mentioned in an article published last week, the renowned company OpenAI, one of the major leaders in the artificial intelligence sector and owner of the chatbot ChatGPT, recently entered into a multi-year agreement with Condé Nast, the US publisher responsible for titles such as Vogue, Wired and The New Yorker.
It has long been rumoured that the company uses third-party content to train its artificial intelligence models, feeding them articles, texts and documents from any corner of the Internet. Following a series of complaints from various media outlets, OpenAI seems to have found a way to continue using other people's content as nourishment for its own models - a partnership with Condé Nast.
OpenAI has also specified that the collaboration is aimed at exploring the use of AI within the industry, thus creating an opportunity to build a service that is able to maintain accuracy, integrity and respect for the information itself.
