The Paris Olympics have come to an end, but their impact on the online world will not end anytime soon. Between victories and dissatisfactions, there have been many opportunities to learn more about the athletes who participated in the 2024 Olympic Games, their performances dominating the entertainment landscape both on television and on the Internet.

As mentioned many times before, the vast world of the Internet is an inscrutable heath, capable of concealing the identity of malicious people with a single click. The faces and names of the Games' professionals, therefore, are available to any online user, and to avoid unpleasant situations that could affect the mental health of athletes, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has implemented the use of AI to examine the content of event-related posts and images.

Unfortunately, online abuse and cyberbullying have become a growing problem within the elite sports sector, with many environment professionals in need of support to prevent, or at least cope with, this gratuitous nastiness. The IOC therefore decided to use Threat Matrix, the AI chosen for the job, as a kind of prevention filter.
