Despite being completely fictitious, it is now possible to chat with hundreds of famous figures from the media world.

Character.ai is a popular artificial intelligence platform that allows users to create profiles of certain characters, whether original or not, giving them a background and personality - once these individuals are built, it will then be possible to message them. Within the platform's personality library are a variety of characters already programmed by other users, available for communication.

On the platform's subreddit, however, there has been a recent increase in reports regarding the quality of the exchanges with these characters. Many are no longer as realistic as they once were: they come across as cold and aloof, seem less "intelligent," and do not offer relevant responses to the discourses taking place.
