Imran Khan: Pakistan ex-PM used artificial intelligence to campaign from jail.

The misuse that certain individuals make of artificial intelligence never seems to reach rock bottom. Recently, the former Pakistani premier decided to use this rising star of technology to build and broadcast his campaign directly from prison.

After being charged with corruption, Imran Khan was imprisoned for three years. The sentence ended during August 2023 - but the man still remains behind bars to this day. Nevertheless, his career is in no danger: the leaders of his political party promptly used artificial intelligence to create an audio clip to send to a virtual rally on the Internet.

The speech delivered by the technology was written by Khan, and approved by his lawyers.
