With the advent of December, Internet entrepreneur Elon Musk released his new artificial intelligence model, called Grok. The model in question is still in early access, and participation in this phase of the project is restricted to Premium+ users of X (formerly Twitter).

Musk's entry into the famous artificial intelligence race has been long overdue, giving viewers time to speculate on the model's functionality. The latter is designed to integrate with X and draw information from user posts, so it has access to real-time events around the world. This selling point, on paper, seems to bring considerable value to the service, but the real situation is quite different.

Motherboard, the owner of the referenced article, conducted investigations into the matter and obtained troubling results. Grok, in fact, generated false timelines for news events, spreading misinformation.
