In early 2023, the giant Google released its own artificial intelligence-based chatbot, naming it "Bard." The latter made a mistake in answering a question posed during its public demo, thus raising some doubt in viewers.

Months later, Google has made public a new AI service: the Gemini model.  This addition to Google's family is described as the "prodigal son"; from what Sundar Pichai, the company's CEO, claimed, Gemini is able to think more carefully because of its advanced reasoning capabilities. The model in question has, moreover, been tested for problem solving and knowledge in 57 subjects, including mathematics and humanities.

Because of ChatGPT, a notable competitor, Google has been struggling to break through in the artificial intelligence universe - but that will soon change. Gemini has already set a new standard, and experts expect great things.
