Google Drive users angry over losing months of stored data.

During the last week of November 2023, a considerable number of users of the Google Drive platform reported the loss of months and months of data saved within the cloud in question. For most of the reports, the information contained in accounts on the drive appeared to have reverted back to April and May of the current year.

Following this troubling discovery, affected users made a request for assistance, hoping that it was simply a temporary problem rather than a global situation.

Subsequently, some investigation into the matter confirmed that the missing data was not caused by user error, but by a problem with the service that prevented proper synchronization of data. At the moment, volunteers from Google's support service are proceeding with an analysis of the situation.
