Who will write the rules for AI? How nations are racing to regulate artificial intelligence.

Following the rise of artificial intelligence, more and more bodies in power have set out to write guidelines that could regulate the use of these extremely innovative tools. Nowadays, there are globally more than 1,600 policies and strategies dedicated to the topic.

The United States of America, the European Union, China and the United Kingdom are pivotal figures in the development. It started during April 2021, thanks to the proposed regulations presented by the EU, aimed at establishing obligations for providers and users, based on the various risks associated with different AI technologies.

During the first weekend of November, the AI Summit was held in Bletchley Park, an event where the foundations were laid for a global agreement, the "Bletchley Declaration."
