The University of Manitoba recently launched a project of considerable prestige. Students of the institution's law department have been proactive, opening an online legal clinic intended to offer free assistance to anyone working in the art industry.

Keeping in mind the latest developments in artificial intelligence and its profound impact on the creative world, many young artists (and others) have expressed great interest in the world of Copyright, seeking methods to protect themselves in the face of a technology about which little is known.

The University's clinic, composed of students and professors, offers a "legal dictionary" aimed at explaining the legal protections available to artists, as well as a service dedicated to overcoming the financial difficulties that creatives might encounter.
