The United States are still in the midst of a heavy strike involving the SAG-AFTRA union and the AMPTP alliance, explained in detail in our last article, posted in the "blog section."

Following the failed negotiations held earlier this month, SAG-AFTRA released an image outlining "guidelines" for how to dress up on Halloween, stressing to avoid dressing up as characters from TV series and movies directly involved in the strike.

This decision on the part of the union has caused considerable outrage, with former SAG-AFTRA president Melissa Gilbert expressing her opinion online, pointing out that this choice makes the organization itself look like a joke. Following the criticism received, SAG-AFTRA specified that the rules in question were not aimed at children, but rather at famous figures and influencers who would post selfies and photos of the evening on social media.
