The phenomenon of AI filters on Tiktok born during the summer of 2023 seems to have not yet reached its end. What began as a simple trend in which to use the app's filters to turn one's selfie into illustrations of any kind soon evolved into a more complex situation.

The latest development in the scene concerns the popular "Remini" application that gives users the option of uploading 8 personal selfies, then using them to generate a result suitable for the type of "aesthetic" required: from photographs for the American-style yearbook to, as the title mentions, professional images that can be used on LinkedIn and in resumes.

Opinions on the matter seem to revolve around two main ideas - some see the application as a viable option for obtaining professional photographs without having to pay too much money, perhaps for young people and those entering the job market; others find the results completely tasteless.
