In February 2023, Meta unveiled and released an artificial intelligence service called "LLaMA," an open source Large Language Model Meta AI. During the year, the company also released the updated version, which is more performant than the previous one.

Recently, the situation has developed further. Meta has been accused of breaking Copyright Laws because of the methods and content used to train the artificial intelligence in question. On Sept. 18, the company appeared in court to dismiss the charges perpetrated by author Sarah Silverman and a number of other authors - outraged as a result of the company's misuse of their works.
