Doordash, a home food delivery service famous in the United States, has recently come under the spotlight. The company is currently the largest company in the industry, at least within the nation.
According to what was announced during last week's press release, the company is now devoting itself to the development of a new voice ordering system, powered, of course, by artificial intelligence. This innovation will allow customers to communicate directly with the latter, rather than with a human worker at the restaurant being contacted.
In order for restaurants to be able to focus on the "in-person" workload, the AI will deal with customers online, providing curated recommendations for completing the order according to the consumer's preferences.
