Microsoft has pulled an AI-written travel guide, which told tourists to visit the Ottawa Food Bank if they are hungry.

Posted on Microsoft Start, an artificial intelligence-generated article titled "Heading to Ottawa? Here's What Not to Miss!" was recently removed from the site, following a distasteful error within it that escaped the oversight process by a human operator.

The text consisted of a list of places to visit during a possible trip to the mentioned city; among the proposed locations jarred, however, the Ottawa Food Bank, a service rightly reserved for those in need.

To twist the knife, the caption dedicated to this list item read "Life is hard enough. Imagine having to face it on an empty stomach."
