On Tuesday, July 15, Meta unveiled the first set of updates for Twitter's rival app, Threads, launched more than three weeks ago now.
To maintain interest, the app now has a translation button and a tab on the feed dedicated to showing who has followed them. In addition, there is now the ability to subscribe to and receive notifications from accounts that a user does not follow and a "+" button that allows users to follow new accounts from replies to a post.
Predictably, user engagement on Threads has declined exponentially since its first week of existence, which is why Meta is now working to make the app more attractive to potential new subscribers.
