People Are Pirating GPT-4 By Scraping Exposed API Keys

Why pay insurmountable sums when you can simply exploit other people's accounts?

Recently, a number of users started advertising on Reddit the presence of a Discord server dedicated to sharing API tokens stolen from the code of their respective account owners of the famous artificial intelligence platform: OpenAI.

GPT-4, the most up-to-date and 'secure' version of the service offered by OpenAI is the subject of interest behind this increase in theft and exploitation of others' profiles. To give a more concrete idea, a user stole access to an account on the aforementioned platform, with a maximum usage limit of $150,000, and is now offering it free of charge to various and possible members of the r/ChatGPT subreddit and the specially dedicated Discord server.
