On April 18, former US President Donald Trump released a second collection of digital trading cards, with tens of thousands of new collectibles available for minting. (Mining an NFT is equivalent to adding the information of a token to a specific blockchain)

Online, Trump wrote over and over again about how lenient he was in deciding not to raise the price of the second collection, noting that he could have done so without fear of getting fewer purchases. The rewards for purchasing a certain number of NFTs range from a gala dinner with the former president, to a Zoom call with the latter, or an exclusive meet & greet.

Following these developments, as well as the subject's ban from social media due to various felony charges, the price of the first trading card launch is plummeting.
