Twitter Says Parts Of Its Source Code Got Leaked On GitHub, Sends Copyright Infringement Notice: Report

In early March, Twitter CEO Elon Musk said he would open-source the code the platform uses to recommend related tweets to users on March 31. Within days of the date, substantial portions of the social network's code were illegally released on GitHub.

Following a copyright infringement notice issued by Twitter against GitHub, the site removed the leaked code; it is not yet clear how long it was available online.
