Nobody expected the impact of ChatGPT, probably not even OpenAi itself; released in November as a "preview for research purposes", the service is now one of the most used by consumer users.
The average user, if knowledgeable in the technological field, is by now accustomed to a certain aesthetic present within digital interfaces; but it seems that a return to the origins will be necessary, thanks to the use that ChatGPT makes of "textboxes" (simple boxes in which to type commands).
The world of Artificial Intelligences seems to be headed in two opposite directions: on the one hand, the proposed services present themselves as improvements to already existing softwares, or directly to tasks generally performed by the human hand and mind - on the other, some AIs will come to perform the role of advisers, they will provide information on which solution is best suited to a specific problem, help choose recipes to prepare for dinner, or write the itinerary for a trip.
