Do Not Share This Book, A Popular Fantasy Series Warned Readers

"Zodiac Academy," a popular fantasy saga centered around werewolves, fairies and magical creatures, has captured the attention of the media over the past month. Due to the first page found within the books of the saga, the two writers Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti have been the target of complaints from readers.

"This book is licensed for your personal entertainment only -" states the first page, "it may not be resold or given to any other person. [...] If you wish to, purchase an additional copy for each receiver. If you're reading this book and did not purchase it, [...] go back to the retailer and purchase your copy."

After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the authors were unaware of this format included in the books, which the original formatter had added as a warning against piracy.
