Russia is now feeling the pressure of the economic sanctions imposed on the nation as a result of the war in Ukraine, and has decided to counter the situation by using the figure of Peppa Pig, the famous British cartoon.
A Russian court has, in fact, declared that the animation under consideration can be freely copied by companies and businesses in the country, without any legal repercussions. Furthermore, it has been specified that the use of any industrial design, utility models and patented inventions originating from "unfriendly countries" is perfectly legal without any request for permission.
As a result, there is a growing fear that Russia will allow itself to counter and infringe registered trademarks from other states, which is why many companies are pulling themselves out of the situation.
