The Tiktok platform has recently become a source of AI-generated videos, complete with the use of deepfakes. The situation attracted media attention following the virality of a video featuring comedian Joe Rogan, who was promoting a brand of coffee aimed at men, as it was enriched with testosterone.

Following a brief investigation, it was discovered that the comedian's voice was also synthesized via AI, making the advertisement in question completely produced by such a system.

Being now a practice available to the average public, the term "cheapfakes" was coined to convey the low quality of the product, and the minimum effort behind it.
