AI Art Generators Spark Multiple Copyright Lawsuits.

For the first time in history, three artists have come together to file legal cases against some Artificial Intelligence services due to their improper use of images and other people's works. In fact, a trio of creatives has opened a lawsuit against Deviantart, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney for copyright infringement.

On the same wavelength, in the British panorama, Getty Images has denounced Stability AI for having illegally copied and processed millions of copyrighted images owned by the site. The latter, in fact, provides licenses and permits to emerging technological innovators, allowing them to use their image database in a way that respects intellectual property rights. However, Stability AI did not request any permission.

Midjourney and Deviantart did not respond to any requests for comment.
