Originally inclined to provide the protection of the latter to a comic entirely composed of Generative Art, they have recently taken a step back, changing their minds. Author Kris Kashtanova's "Zarya of the Dawn" project consists of a comic inspired by her late grandmother, produced entirely by AI Midjourney. USCO initially granted copyright protection to the project, but recently revoked this agreement.
